ASWAT was founded in Dubai in 2011 as a telecom consulting firm. After successfully building call center software for clients like Citruss TV and Carrefour and deploying a powerful telecom infrastructure to process voice traffic locally across the GCC, the founders saw the opportunity to go bigger. This led to the introduction of ZIWO, a Cloud Call Center Software (CCaaS) tailored for the Middle East and North Africa. Unlike generic global solutions, ZIWO is built to ensure local compliance, support Arabic language nuances, as well as provide voice hosting and processing entirely within the region. This capability is more than a feature; it is our primary competitive advantage. Today, ZIWO is the leading Cloud Contact Center platform in the region, trusted by innovators like Emaar, Tabby, ELM, WIO, or Deliveroo. Our platform is cloud-agnostic and can be hosted in any country, giving clients unmatched flexibility. Backed by top regional investors Wamda and Oraseya Capital, ZIWO operates with 140 talents across offices in Dubai, Riyadh, Cairo, and Casablanca. Our growth has been recognized by the UAE Ministry of Economy’s Future 100 (2023 & 2024) and Deloitte Fast 50 (2023, 2024, and 2025). With ZIWO AI already in use by our largest customers, we are improving customer experience in Arabic and English.
